Location. Housed in a traditionally Mexican seven storey building dating from 1930, the Tulip Inn Ritz Mexico is located adjacent to the Zocalo, the main square, in the historic centre of Mexico City. The National Palace is 600 metres from the hotel and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, an opera house, is 700 metres away. Benito Juarez International Airport is six kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Expert Tip.Visit the Palacio de Bellas Artes opera house, 700 metres away, for its magnificent Art Nouveau exterior and Art Deco interiors. But don't leave it too long; the massive weight of the Carrera marble used in its construction is making it sink a few centimetres each year.
