Hotel Amfora is a three floor, beachfront property on the Croatian Island of Hvar in the Adriatic. The hotel is situated on a pebble beach in a picturesque bay, 500 metres from Hvar town centre. It features 330 guestrooms with modern decor and balconies or terraces with sea or park views. Room amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, wireless Internet access, minibars, direct dial phones and bathrooms with bathrobes and hair dryers.
The hotel has several dining options: Maestral, a yacht deck restaurant that serves dishes smoke grilled over grapevines, seafood and fine wine; Colonnade, a beach bar and grill serving cocktails and picnic chic lunches; and Veranda, a turn of the century architectural gem with a wide open view of Hvar's Amfora Bay where guests can lounge during the day and enjoy creative dining and dancing under the stars by night. Guests can soak up the sun on the beach, or relax with a drink in the bar. There is an Internet corner, and multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can arrange excursions and tours, while other amenities include currency exchange, conference rooms, and complimentary parking. Places of historical interest such as the Spanjola Fortress, the Franciscan Monastery, and one of the oldest theatres in Europe, are all within 1.5 kilometres of the hotel, while the historic village of Humac is 35 kilometres away. Guests can also visit other islands, such as Vis Island, 19 kilometres away, and the Blue Cave on Bi evo Island which is 22 kilometres distance. Split Kastela Airport is 70 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate travel time of 270 minutes.

Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport. Buses run from the airport to Split Harbour, from where fast boats leave for Hvar. Larger ferries also run from Split to the main port in Stari Grad, 15 kilometres from the hotel. From the main port buses and taxis are available to Hvar.
Driving directions: From Hvar, go straight (leaving the central parking lot on the left) and follow the signs for approximately three kilometres.
